Teruko Aishi, age 17
Shin-omiya Ward, Saitama, Japan - Earth, year 2051

Teruko is a transfer student who has been possessed by an ancient spirit named Chouka since she was a baby. She believed the spirit was her imaginary friend growing up, and would occasionally suffer black-outs in her memory from Chouka’s influence. And to further complicate matters, due to an ill-thought pledge Teruko made to Chouka when she was still a child, their souls have become so intertwined that removing her would put Teruko's life in danger. Over time, Chouka was able to suppress herself and let Teruko live a normal life.

That all changed when Chouka caught wind of a magical being called Hoshikyo running around the city. Although she had no memories of who she was before she came to this world, she recognized the name as someone very powerful, and thought that perhaps with their magical ability combined, they could find a way to safely separate herself from Teruko! To accomplish this, she allowed herself to completely possess Teruko and temporarily took over her body so she could try and track Hoshikyo down.

But with only a little girl to keep her company all these years, she’s not the most socially adjusted type...

Teruko and Chouka are both original characters played by randomsnarfle. They are two people living inside a single body. While Chouka is fully aware of her existence inside of Teruko, Teruko still believes that Chouka was only a figment of her imagination as a child. Their appearances are completely different, and it would be almost impossible for a normal person to assume they share a body.
